Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting when she was in Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student through Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to attempting TV and movie parts. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as a guest star in a handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she appeared in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
